Timeline
October 2021: The team is currently working on finalizing their designs and narrowing them down to one design to then be implemented in CAD software.
December 2021: Final design and working drawings approved by advisors
November 2021: Design narrowed down to one, 3D modeling, and ANSYS analysis
September 2021: Preliminary research period over and the team moved onto creating their first drawings. Preliminary budget was also created.
August 2021: First preliminary designs were created.
June 2021: Began research for available cargo rack designs on the market
January 2022: Purchasing and general manufacturing begins.
